A night quickie for the weekend (pretty late already over here in Thailand): Google just launched a new and fun search service: What do you love? It is not totally perfect (as you will see in the short video) but quite a nice idea though. Give it a try and spread the love!
After entering the thing or person (this is where it lacks a little. Shows quite some funny suggestions that make sense for things but not for persons) you love google takes you to the following screen showing you results from all different kind of google services. Google Earth, Pictures, Maps, Blogger, Groups, Translate, etc….
Nice and intuitive handling like most times with google products. It updates automatically (and even changes the order of the search boxes when you do a new search) and lets you browse your favorite categories at your convenience. This might not replace other search modes or engines but is a nice way of showing off uhm showing what services google offers for search.
Furthermore it is a nice way to find new services or services you already forgot about and in some cases it even might bring results onto the daylight that you would have never found using the ‘normal’ search.
Besides that it is simply a nice idea and quite a nice name. Spread the love (but don’t stalk!) ;-) To see Google’s What do you love in action, simply watch the following video. Enjoy!
