Imagine: You are a platinum selling, million dollar earning rock band with countless top 10 singles and even more successful albums. Sold out arenas all over the globe. What could be the next thing to do? Bigger? Better? Nope! Cooler!
One of the most famous and – in my humble opinion also one of the best – rock bands of all time, the foo fighters, decided to not make it bigger but to make it cooler. They played in garages all across the country and gave incredible experiences to their fans who made them what they are.
Since other bands simply seem to lose the sight when getting older (e.g. the Red Hot Chilipeppers) The Foo Fighters seem to know exactly where they are coming from and what is good for them, their success (of course this is a big marketing thing as well) and their fans.
Enough of the talking. Here is the complete video of the Foo Fighter’s Garage Tour. That is what I call Garage Band! Thx for the past 15 years or so. Looking forward to the next ones with you guys.
